At Flyers, our Mini Gymnastics classes are designed for children aged 4 years and upwards, primarily for children who have started school and are in Reception. We also welcome confident 4-year-olds who are not yet in school but are comfortable attending a child-only class, can separate from their parent/guardian and are ready to follow a structured class.
Our Mini Gymnastics programme provides the perfect introduction to gymnastics, helping little ones develop the fundamental skills they need to become confident Flyers athletes. During each session, gymnasts will work on skills such as jumping, rolling, beginner handstands and cartwheels, while exploring a variety of gymnastics equipment.
Alongside learning gymnastics skills, we focus on developing strength, flexibility, balance, coordination and body awareness, while also building confidence, independence, listening and learning skills.
Please note: This is a child-only class. Parents and guardians are not permitted to stay in the gym but are welcome to wait in the sports centre reception area for the duration of the class.
As your child progresses through the Mini Gymnastics programme and is aged 5 and ready to move on, they can move up into one of our main club sessions, with opportunities to specialise in gymnastics, trampolining or cheerleading.
Our aim is to give every young athlete the skills, confidence and foundations they need to safely enjoy gymnastics and continue progressing with Flyers.
Price:
£44.00 per month
This class is covered by a regular payment every month.
Subscription: Training subscriptions are charged from September to July (or from the month you join) and will be paused and not charged in August. Training fees for the year are split in to 11 equal monthly payments and so will be the same regardless of the number of sessions that occur each month. Please note that unless you join on the 1st of the month and have set up your subscription in advance, your first months payment will include a covering payment to include any fees owed for your first months training fees.
For class cancellation, notice must be given by the 10th of the month in order to cease membership at the end of the respective month.
Please note that membership and training fees are inclusive of 20% VAT.
All children also have to pay a £39.00 Annual Membership Fee

If your child hasn't been before and you would like to take them along to try the class we offer a trial - it costs £12.50 for . This trial can start on any of the next 2 sessions.
